Christopher Jochim opened Sunshine Auto Center in 1973 as a family run shop who the Pompano Beach community can trust. We were never in it for the money but for the love of mechanics. From the very beginning we approached repairs and collision body work as an opportunity to do what we do best. To return your vehicle running at peak performance and looking as good as new. Word spread quickly as happy customers began to refer their friends and family to our shop. We are proud to serve a diverse group of customers from high school students, to doctors, lawyers, school teachers, parents, singles, senior citizens, or anyone in need of quality automotive repairs.

More Than Just Mechanically Inclined

Sometimes the challenge with family owned and operated shops is that structured training falls by the wayside—but not here at Sunshine Auto Center. Yes, we are a family affair, but our six technicians are ASE Master Certified and participate in ongoing mechanical training. With the advanced computers found in modern vehicles this is a must. However, we still have the visual skills to inspect your vintage and older vehicles. We are a true full-service repair shop, providing auto repairs, tire sales, and collision body work, glass repairs and replacement, and precision color matching post-collision. Or if you want a custom paint job we can do that too! Sunshine Auto Center has six mechanical and four collision bays, a top of the line paint booth. We are proud of the work we do which is why we never rush our work. We offer prompt turnaround and same day service, with precision craftsmanship and quality mechanics!

We are here to shed light on that funny noise your vehicle is making or to determine why you have experienced a recent drop in performance. We provide all factory scheduled maintenance like oil changes and tune ups and are here anytime you need a last minute or emergency repair—this includes engine repair and collision body work. We value your business which is why we offer regular customers free diagnostics, tire rotation, and air. New customers can enjoy free diagnostics with repair. How may we serve you?

All of our work is backed by a 12 month/12,000 miles warranty. Walk-ins are always welcome or call ahead to schedule afterhours drop-off or pick-up—or arrange to use our free shuttle.
